Heels Floorwork Series + Video Opportunity

6 Week Program (6 x 2 hours + Video Shoot)

Starting February 5th-March 19th (break Feb 26th)

On Set: Week of March 24th (Likely March 26th)

Timing: 6-8pm weekly

Rehearsal Location: Xing Dance Theatre (70 Huron St)

Level: Heels Floorwork level 1-2

Pricing: $345 + HST

Calling all dancers looking to expand their floorwork training and learn unique new variations and skills. In this program, dancers will have a set syllabus throughout their 6 week program and have mentorship and guidance to learn moves that they’ve been looking forward to.

The video project will be an opportunity for dancers to showcase their talents and skills they have learnt throughout the program and have their work provided on film. The set will be an infinity pool to highlight the floorwork moves.

*Floorwork basics are required knowledge in this course. This includes, forward and backwards summersaults, bum/back rolls and basic dives.

10 Week Progressive Opportunity:

Bridge your skills by taking the Intro to Acrobatics for Dancers and Heels Floorwork for 10 consecutive weeks total! Those signing up for this Heels Floorwork Program will be given a discount on the Intro to Acrobatics Program to encourage supplemental training. Heels Floorwork Training Program

Level: Heels Floorwork level 1-2

Pricing: Early Bird $260+HST, Full $280+HST after March 20th

This program is for dancers looking to expand their floorwork training and learn unique new variations and skills. In this program, dancers will have a weekly focus throughout their 6 week program based around one of the floorwork tricks and concepts. Dancers will have mentorship and guidance to learn moves that they’ve been looking forward to throughout their journey.

The will be focusing on basics such as rolls, swipes, shoulder stands, bridges and kipups with the opportunity to progress to dive rolls, fishflops and wind mills spins.

Whether you are new or a returning dancer to these programs, I will make sure to to give you the push you need!

Pricing: $165+HST for one, $320+HST for both

These projects are short-term commitment, video shoots. Each style has one rehearsal to learn choreography, one open studio space time and unlimited personalized feedback throughout the process.

The goal is to allow dancers to get the experience dancing on a full set and production with allowing a short commitment and encourage dancers to be working on choreography at your pace and level of dedication you can.

Beginner Level

You have little to no dance experience prior. You are learning basic moves, foundations, body placement and music.

Intermediate

You have a strong understanding of foundations, can pick up choreography fairly easily and are beginning to understand your personal style and performance.

Advanced

Pre-professional or professional level. You can handle any choreography given to you in the style, can quickly pick up choreography, perform with ease and facials.

Beg/Int Level

You have an understanding of music and movement foundations but are working to solidify them. You are beginning to progress to faster music as well as more challenging weight transfers and complex moves.

Floorwork Level 1

You have little to no experience on the floor. You are uncomfortable using it and are looking to understand how to expand and feel more in tune with these movements.

Floorwork Level 2

You are comfortable using the floor and being able to manipulate your body through movements up and down off the floor. You are looking to understand more challenging tricks, flair movements and using your flexibility to your advantage.

Floorwork Level 1 may be required prior to this level
